Privacy Policy

1. Information You Provide to Us

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and a display name. You can register with an email and password or by using Google Sign-In, in which case we receive your name and email address from your Google account.

Identity verification information. To confirm you are a real person eligible to work and to comply with our obligations, we collect your legal first and last name, a photo of a government-issued identification document, a selfie photo, and your confirmation that you are over 18. We may use this information to verify that your selfie matches your ID.

Profile and onboarding information. During onboarding we collect your city, state/province, and country; your availability; your device type; information about your social media experience and why you want to join; how you heard about us; an introductory video used to evaluate applicants; and a digital signature and your acceptance of our agreements.

Payment information. To pay you, we use Stripe and Stripe Connect. When you set up payouts, Stripe collects and processes information such as your legal name, bank account details, and tax identification information directly through its own systems. We store a Stripe account identifier, your payout history, earnings balances, and the status of each payout, but we do not store your full bank account or tax details ourselves.

Content and task submissions. When you complete tasks, we collect the content and proof you submit. This can include videos, photos, screenshots, captions, and links, as well as information related to the social media accounts used for a task — including account usernames and, where a task requires it, account credentials, recovery email addresses, and related verification information.

Support communications. When you contact us through in-app chat, we collect the messages and any information you choose to share with our support team.

2. Information We Collect Automatically

When you use the App, we automatically collect certain information, including your account and device identifiers, app version, device type, push notification tokens, and your time zone (used to schedule posting activity in your local hours). We and our analytics provider also collect information about how you interact with the App, such as screens viewed, logins and logouts, and tasks started, completed, or failed.

3. Device Permissions

The App may ask for permission to access:

• Camera and microphone — to capture your selfie, record your introductory video, and record video content for tasks.
• Photo library — to let you select photos or videos to submit.
• Notifications — to send you push notifications about tasks, payouts, and account updates.

You can change these permissions at any time in your device settings. Disabling a permission may limit certain features of the App.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and verify your identity.
• To review applications and assign and manage tasks.
• To process and send your payouts and maintain payout records.
• To schedule posting activity appropriately for your time zone and location.
• To communicate with you, provide customer support, and send service-related notifications.
• To monitor, analyze, and improve the App and protect against fraud, abuse, and violations of our terms.
• To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf, including:

• Google Firebase — for authentication, database, file storage, cloud functions, push notifications, and crash reporting.
• Google — when you choose to sign in with your Google account.
• Stripe — to verify identity for payouts and to process payments.
• PostHog — for product analytics.
• Crisp — to provide in-app customer support chat.

We may also share information when required by law, to enforce our agreements, to detect or prevent fraud or security issues, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the App, process payments, comply with our legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify it.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can request to delete your account and associated data by contacting us using the details below. Some information may be retained where we are legally required or permitted to keep it.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the App.
